“Regret”…hm…I guess this was our attempt to cover an already great and well done song. We made it a little on the dreamy side…I like to think that we ended up with a very warm, glowy, homey rendition, with ukulele, reverbed glockenspiel, fuzzy and shiny keyboard bits, and candy wrappers that Tim found while playing drums in Sadie’s room. For me (Sadie), there’s something especially cozy about it because the tracks-in-progress were passed back and forth as it was recorded bit by bit in our various homes…at Gary’s in NYC, at Han’s in SF, at Sadie’s in SF, and at Han’s and Gary’s mom’s house in Fremont. - Sadie
