The Invisible Cities

ok. For Watertown. ok. What I like about it is that it makes me remember that feeling of being young and not really understanding (or even caring maybe) what’s going on around you — just being drowsy and warm enough and fed enough, while the adults make things happen. And then there’s all the detachment of childhood, or rather, the remembering of it, where sometimes it feels like a series of snapshots: “people in chairs”, “walk down the stairs”, etc. I like this little picture book of sense and feeling that I just kind of get to float through. - Sadie
